The Education Committee of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg NAACP is committed to ensuring that every student in our county receives an equitable and excellent education. We work tirelessly to achieve this through various initiatives:
1. Advocating for fair distribution of resources across schools in Charlotte-Mecklenburg to ensure all students have access to quality education regardless of their background.
2. Improving the quality of teaching in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools to elevate overall educational standards.
3. Promoting parental engagement within Charlotte’s educational system to strengthen the partnership between schools and families.
4. Supporting early childhood literacy programs in Charlotte-Mecklenburg to lay a solid foundation for academic success.
